One of our dear Jalandhari "Raman" has sent in this photo essay on the plight of poor in Jalandhar. These are the shops close to Rama Mandi chowk that has been demolished by Cantonment board. These shops were unauthorised. Now Cantonment board might build new shops at these places and rent these out. Well what can we say. Why were these shops allowed in the first place.
